It is amazing to think how millions of people celebrate their Christmas around the World. Every country has their own traditions, even here in the United States.
Why…? It wouldn’t be difficult to answer. The United States of America has many different traditions to celebrate Christmas due to the great diversity we have in this country. The United States is a country of immigrants, and therefore, a melting pot of cultures.
Here in the USA, Christmas is observed on the 25th of December, and people start celebrating the festive season just after the day of Thanksgiving. Although, some countries have different Christmas traditions and they celebrate this holiday for longer periods of time.
It is said that the most celebrated holiday in the world is Christmas. Perhaps due to the hundreds of years of secular and religious traditions in the world. One thing in common are the Christmas trees which is a very popular decoration and the exchange of presents.
